This stay was so special.
Truly one of those places that stays with you long after the trip ends. We got insanely lucky with our riad, booked through airbnb, tucked right inside the souks, and somehow felt both peaceful and close to everything.

It was a traditional restored riad, with all the original architectural details still intact. Soft colors, arches, mosaic floors, carved doors.
It was a full-on photo dump kind of place but also one of those spots you lowkey don’t even want to leave the whole trip.

The rooftop had the most incredible view of Marrakech. You could see the Koutoubia Mosque clearly, and hearing the call to prayer from up there? Chills. We spent so much time just sitting up there with mint tea in hand, not wanting to move. Not kidding, we had multiple “should we cancel the rest of our plans?” moments.
What made it unforgettable though were the people. Patty, our host, was an angel. She coordinated everything for us, from drivers to and from the airport to our trip out to the desert, and all the little in-between moments that made the experience feel seamless. I cannot recommend her enough.

And Bahija. Oh my heart. She welcomed us with the biggest smile and truly made our trip. Getting to know her was one of our favorite parts of being there. You could feel how much she cared about the space and the people in it.

A few notes:
It’s a private riad, which made the whole thing feel extra calm and cozy.
Located in a super safe neighborhood, right in the souks.
Breakfast at the riad is a must. Still thinking about it!
Aesthetic in every single way.
Bookmarking this stay forever!
With love from Marrakech,
